  1. QUESTION:
Looking for a high quality dog food for a low to mid price?
Looking for a quality dog food with no by-products, artificial preseratives or coloring, and no corn for a moderate to low
price or does anyone know of a dog food coupon club/chat
    room?

    • ANSWER:
We give our dog Iams. I just got a coupon from their website. Not sure if they still have it but its worth a shot.

  2. QUESTION:
Where do you get those dog food check coupons?
When I used to work at walmart, people would always come through with dog food checks (coupons). for a large amount off of a bag of a specific brand of dog food. I have checked out a few brands websites but haven't came across anything. I know its kind of the same like when you sign up on good start they send you formula coupons. I'm just not sure where to find the dog food ones.

    • ANSWER:
If you mean for Purina foods, you have to join their ProClub and save weight circles. I don't know any other company that prints them as checks.

      http://www.purinaproclub.com/

You earn points for each weight circle you turn in (from a Purina dog food product) and you can then spend those points on checks for Purina dog food or for items in their store. It's a bit like Green Stamps.

  3. QUESTION:
What is a good website where i can print grocery store coupons (kraft, dog food, toilet paper, etc)?
Need to find a Good Website to print Coupons to use at Grocery Stores. Exp. Kraft macaroni, Dog Food, Toilet paper, personal products, etc.
I don't want to have to join and give all my info just to print a coupon! I know the sites are out there...Let me know what sites you know about.

    • ANSWER:
try the grocery coupons section at shoppingbulletin.com, you don't have to sign up, you just have to install the coupon printer plugin to print them.

  4. QUESTION:
How long is a large bag of unopened dry dog food good for?
I have a few coupons to get free bags of dog food. They expire at the end of the month, so I was wondering if I go ahead and use them if the food will still be good a month or so from now?
Thanks! They're for .99 bags of the food she is eating so it'll save me some money. Just didn't want the food to go bad waiting on her to eat it.

    • ANSWER:
My dad buys in bulk so we have unopened bags in our house for months.

  5. QUESTION:
What is your dogs favorite brand of dog food?
My dog seems to love Nutro ultra wet dog food. I only get him the holistic brands of wet food if I have a coupon and if their is a good sale.

    • ANSWER:
i have my dog on halo grain free kibble and canned ... he gets kibble for breakfast and lunch and canned for supper ... he really loves it ... he was free fed for the first year and he just picked at the food, but with halo i have to give measured meals or he would keep eating ... he does a happy dance for the canned food, especially when i nuke it :O)

  6. QUESTION:
Are animal shelters more in need of cat food or dog food?
I have gotten coupons in the mail from Purina. I can get a free 10lb bag and a free 25lb bag. I am not feeding this to my pets (yuck), but I'm donating it to the shelter.

So, should I get 25lbs of cat food and 10lb of dog food, or vice versa? What are they more in need of? Thanks!
I requested the coupons so I could give food to the shelter.

    • ANSWER:
Many areas are different. Call the shelter you plan on donating it to and ask them.

But in general, dogs are bigger and eat more. So unless they have a lot of cats in their shelter, I would assume they need more dog food.

I got these little sacks of purina dog food and treats in the mail a few months ago. I took them down to the local shelter. The lady acted like I was Santa Claus!! They dont get treats much apparently. So when I go to buy my dog a new treat, I always make sure to buy extra and take it to the shelter. I cant volunteer time (because I am allergic to EVERYTHING!!) but I can donate food and money. And every little bit counts!

I'm trying one, but it's for a 40# bag. I'm a nurse so I work about 50hrs/wk so I don't have time to cook meals for him.

  11. QUESTION:
What is the best dog food, for dogs with senstive stomches?
My dog has been throwing up alot, and shes otherwise healthy according to the vet. I think it might be her dog food (authority) and i was wondering what the best all-natrual dog food would be. I know theres nutro, but there has to be something better than that.

    • ANSWER:
Is your dog throwing up food? Or is she throwing up bile?

Through trial and error, I figured out that my dog Bailey throws up yellow bile if her tummy is empty. So I divide her daily ration into 4 servings, and feed her at breakfast, lunch, supper, and bedtime. It's sometimes not convenient, but I don't mind doing it if it makes her feel better.

Another problem I've noticed with dogs is that they sometimes eat too fast, and that causes them to throw up after eating. If that's what's going on with your dog, spread the kibbles out over a dinner plate so that she can't gulp such big mouthfuls.

If you're looking for a different food, you might want to check out Eukanuba Sensitive Stomach. Here's a link to all the details: http://www.eukanuba.com/EukGlobal/US/en/jsp/product/productDetail/Sensitive%20Stomach.jsp?id=1036. How does double and triple coupons work?
Okay, so I used to buy premium dog food at Zamzows but can't afford to spend that much money anymore. There is a off coupon of Pedigree dog food. The bag usually cost 12-13 dollars. So will the coupon jump to if the store doubles and if they triple?

Also there is a coupon for off 3 bottles of concentrated Similac. Will the coupon jump to off?

You definitely have the math right, BUT usually on coupons with that high amount they say in small print somewhere, "Do Not Double OR Triple" If it doesn't say that anywhere, then you've got yourself one hell of a deal!!! Just make sure where you are going accepts Manufacturer Coupons. Hope this helps!!! :)

What is the best type of dog food for dogs?
I have a 13 year old big Akita half Irish wolfhound he is pretty healthy I take him for walks about everyday, he still acts like he's young besides when he excersises he gets more tired then he used to. I'm just wondering what would be the best dog food for him to live healthy as long as possible and if you have any tips for him to be a healthy and happier dog

    • ANSWER:
I personally think one of the best foods out there is "Blue". My Vet highly recommends it. As ferral animals, cats and dogs eat live food. Blue is the closest thing to that. Other pet foods have a great deal of additives and corn meal and fillers that are not good for animals. The only caution to use with Blue is make sure you pup has plenty of water on hand to drink from.
Because most ferral animals get thier moisture from the animals they eat, it is a good idea to make sure that there is plenty of water nearby. In our home we have a water dish by the food bowl and another one in our hallway to make sure they get enough opportunities for water. The canned "Blue" is great too! You can go here: http://www.bluebuffalo.com/dog-food-comparison/true-blue-test to compare your current food to "Blue" and get a coupon to try it out.

I would also recommend with your dog being 13 years old - add some cosequin (information here: http://www.free-online-veterinarian-advice.com/cosequin.html) to his diet. It talks alot about arthritis. Here is the thing though. Your dog could have arthritis and you not be aware. Dogs and cats typically show no signs of pain because thier natural instinct is to now show it because it is a sign of weakness among packs. I would say check it out for 2 weeks as directed on the bottle and you will see the amazing difference in him. He will play more and feel better. I have found that it makes such a big difference in the lives of pets who are over the age of 8 years old. I purchased mine on amazon because it is so much cheaper. Don't go generic on this. Here is a place to start http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&keywords=cosequin%20dogs&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Acosequin%20dogs&page=1

I think its wonderful he has a pet parent that loves him enough to explore options for him. Best of luck to you and your pup on your decisions to change foods and add in a

  22. QUESTION:
What is the best, yet affordable, dog food?
I keep reading that the best dog foods will keep your vet bills down but I also can't afford the BEST dog foods! So what is the next best thing?

    • ANSWER:
science diet...it is well recommended, and while it isn't cheap it isn't expensive either, especially if you have a small dog and don't over feed them. Also, science diet can be bought at petsmart and petco, not just at the vet, which is a great convenience...money is a concern for me as well, as a college student, and I have found that science diet's website has coupons and mail/email lists you can sign up for to get coupons...and pets mart is the same way..sometimes I will get one for 2 or 3 dollars off a bag of food, which certainly helps

  23. QUESTION:
Is it true that the better quality of the dog food the less you have to feed?
I was wandering if this is true or made up. I have heard that it is true from allot of people but I just really wanted to know for myself. It would be good to have proof as well. Could someone please compare a lower quality dog food to a higher quality dog food feeding requirements?
It would be great to have some answers from the experts!

    Thanks, all answers appreciated.

    • ANSWER:
      Here you go:

Food is the fuel of all life. The quality of the fuel directly relates to how well the body can operate. Low quality dog food, such as Beneful, Pedigree, Ol’ Roy, Purina, Eukanuba, Iams, Science Diet, etc., are filled with *empty* calories. These foods are made with keeping costs down in mind, *not* in the best interest of nutrition. When you think of healthy food, do you think of Nestle or Mars (both heavily invested in producing candy)? What about Del Monte (heavily invested in produce, especially corn…)?

Heck, just go to Beneful’s or Pedigree’s websites, they’re full of promotions, coupons, streaming audio and video, and heart-warming catchy slogans; they know that as long as they paint a pretty picture, the “sheeple” of the world will think it must be good because they got a warm and fuzzy feeling by the advertising.

Let’s take Pup-peroni (by Del Monte), for example, a quick scan of the ingredients raises eyebrows:

         - Meat By-products – Definition: The non-rendered, clean parts, other
than meat, derived from slaughtered mammals. It includes, but is not
limited to, lungs, spleen, kidneys, brain, livers, blood, bone,
partially defatted low temperature fatty tissue, and stomachs and
           intestines freed of their contents
         - Sugar – Because all dogs need sugar, right?
         - Propylene Glycol – Here’s a few uses of this chemical (from Wikipedia):
+ As the main ingredient in deodorant sticks
+ As a medical and sexual lubricant
+ As the killing and preserving agent in pitfall traps, usually used
              to capture ground beetles
+ As a solvent used in mixing photographic chemicals, such as film
              developers
+ In hand sanitizers, antibacterial lotions, and saline solutions

How about Pedigree (made by M&M’s company Mars), you know ‘Really good food for dogs’:

         - First ingredient – GROUND WHOLE CORN (read, nutritionally void filler)
         - Corn Gluten Meal – This is a well-known (even patented) herbicidal agent
used for weed control in lawns and gardens!
         - Wheat Mill Run – Definition: Commonly referred to as "floor sweepings",
this ingredient is nothing more than inexpensive filler with little or
           no nutritional value.
         - Chicken by-product meal: Consists of the ground, rendered, clean parts
of the carcass of slaughtered chicken, such as necks, feet, undeveloped
eggs and intestines, exclusive of feathers, except in such amounts as
might occur unavoidable in good processing practice. Chicken by-product
costs less than chicken muscle meat and lacks the digestibility of
           chicken muscle meat.

Chemical additives aside, let’s analyze the recommended serving size between Pedigree and a quality food like Orijen. Being that Pedigree is mostly fillers, your poor dog has to eat so much more just to get the calories to survive when compared to a quality food that actually contains real meat. You ready?

          Pedigree (50-75lb. dog): 4 to 5-1/3 cups a day
          Orijen (45-75lb. dog): 1-3/4 to 2-1/2 cups a day!

Orijen costs more, but you feed less, AND the quality is superb. Just look at the difference in the ingredients and it’s painfully obvious which is a quality food.

Pedigree: GROUND WHOLE CORN, MEAT AND BONE MEAL, GROUND WHEAT, CORN GLUTEN MEAL, ANIMAL FAT (PRESERVED WITH BHA/BHT), WHEAT MILL RUN, WHEAT FLOUR, NATURAL FLAVOR, SALT, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, CARAMEL COLOR, CHICKEN BY-PRODUCT MEAL, RICE, VEGETABLE OIL (SOURCE OF LINOLEIC ACID), VITAMINS (CHOLINE CHLORIDE, dl-ALPHA TOCOPHEROL ACETATE [SOURCE OF VITAMIN E], L-ASCORBYL-2-POLYPHOSPHATE [SOURCE OF VITAMIN C*], VITAMIN A SUPPLEMENT, THIAMINE MONONITRATE [VITAMIN B1], BIOTIN, d-CALCIUM PANTOTHENATE, RIBOFLAVIN SUPPLEMENT [VITAMIN B2], VITAMIN D3 SUPPLEMENT, VITAMIN B12 SUPPLEMENT), MINERALS (ZINC SULFATE, ZINC PROTEINATE, COPPER SULFATE, COPPER PROTEINATE, MANGANESE PROTEINATE, POTASSIUM IODIDE), ADDED FD&C AND LAKE COLORS (YELLOW 6, YELLOW 5, BLUE 2, RED 40)

Orijen: Deboned chicken, chicken meal, turkey meal, russet potato, lake whitefish, chicken fat, sweet potato, whole eggs, turkey, salmon meal, salmon and anchovy oils, salmon, natural chicken flavour, sunflower oil, sun-cured alfalfa, dried brown kelp, carrots, spinach, peas, tomatoes, apples, psyllium, dulse, glucosamine Hcl, cranberries, black currants, rosemary extract, chondroitin sulfate, sea salt.

You can apply this same analogy TO EVERY SINGLE PET FOOD IN THE GROCERY / CHAIN PET STORES!

Foods to avoid: Pedigree, Beneful, Purina, Iams, Nutro, Alpo, Ol Roy, Mighty Dog, Ceser, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Purina, Royal Canin, Eagle Pack (not to be confused with Eagle Pack Holistic) and of course all grocery store brands of dog food!

  29. QUESTION:
What are healthy dog food brands?
Yes, I know you usually get what you pay in regards to dog food. But I would like to know BRAND NAMES of good healthy dog food, and possibly the least healthy brands as well.
This is for an underweight rescue mutt, in the 45lb range if it makes any difference.
With these holistic brands - is it possible to get a sample of the food? the mutt has proven to be picky and I don't really desire to spend 40$ on food he'll refuse to eat.
Though - if it has all that good wholesome food in it, he'll likely dive in.

    • ANSWER:
Nutro Ultra! It's packed with "super foods" to help with his immune system, healthy heart, brain function, vision, etc. Also, Nutro does not use ground yellow corn, which is a filler and big allergen among dogs. They don't use by-products (heads, feet, intestines). And there are no artificial colors or flavors. It has high levels of essential fatty acids to help keep your dog's skin and coat healthy. And it's 100% guaranteed! This is great for picky eaters because if he doesn't like it, return it (with your receipt) and get your money back. If you go to the website you can print off a coupon for the small bag, which is great for trial runs.

does anyone know the best dog food to feed a pomeranian who is almost 1 year old?
My pom seems to have trouble chewing hard food. Alot of the food out there is for big dogs. What is the best dog food for small doggies?

    • ANSWER:
Wellness makes the BEST natural food for small dogs, Small Breed Super 5 Mix.

I had tried so many other foods for my tiny, tiny yorkie, and ended up having to grind them up with a mortar and pestle (even the food by RC made especially for yorkies.) And she didn't even like the food; I had to add soup stock or crushed freeze-dried foods to get her to eat.

Small Breed Super 5 Mix then became available, and trying it was worry-free because of the Wellness full refund guarantee (from wherever you purchase it).

From the first sample, she absolutely loved the food...I didn't even have to add soup stock or sprinkle freeze-dried food to get her to try it. The kibble is so small that she had no trouble chewing it. We use it for treats for her, too.

I was relieved just to have a healthy, natural food she could eat and enjoy. It was a delightful bonus to see her coat become gorgeous and have her so much more playful. Even her tracheal symptoms have almost disappeared...the vet was astounded at the improvement.

We have switched our Silky Terrier over to the Wellness Lamb and Barley Super 5 Mix (instead of the Natural Balance line.) She has no more loose stools and her coat is so silky instead of coarse. She eats really fast so we didn't use the Small Breed kibble...having to chew the regular size kibble slows her down. :-)

I highly recommend the Wellness Super 5 Mix line of foods. Petco frequently has the small cans of Wellness food free with the purchase of the dry food. As an occasional treat, we mix the canned food with some water to make it into a gravy for the dry food...it lasts for several days for both dogs. They love it! And if you sign up online for the Wellness Pet Club, they will send you coupons good for all the Wellness foods.

  34. QUESTION:
what is a good quality but easily digestable food for beagles?
I have a 1 year old beagle. My husband and I did some research on dog foods and put her on Orijen about 6 months ago but she has bouts with diarrhea and it seems like the food is just too rich for her. I don't want a food with a bunch of fillers or corn or by-products like most grocery-store foods have. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with a good quality food that sits well in beagles?

    • ANSWER:
I have researched this in depth since my poor dog died of kidney failure due to poor quality dog food!! (this is the only reason I answer these questions … to try and save a dogs life or at least to not let him/her suffer because of bad food)

  35. QUESTION:
What are some things that you are doing to help save some extra money?
I have started cutting coupons cutting my grocery bills in half every week. I reuse things, such as when my dog food bag is empty, I also use it as a trash bag, lol. I have been trying to keep the AC off & the windows open.
What are something that you do to try & save a penny?

    • ANSWER:
      1. I called my electric company and we have a time of use plan, which means I can chose 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am as my time of use where i get charged only .06 cents per unit of electricity. I chose 7 pm to 7 am since we are all home at those time and use a lot of electricty then. During 7 am to 7 pm electricity is .20 per unit so I am careful to save electricty then. I use the dishwasher, washing machine, and take showers (use of hot water heater) at night.

      2. Put window film on my windows to keep the sun out.

      3. I get shampoo, bodywash, bar soap, toothpaste, pain relievers, shaving gel, creme rinse, for free. I do this using the register rewards and extra bucks at walgreens and CVS. Just buy the products and get that money back from the store to buy something else in the store.

      4. I gather all the local grocery store ads and they all have instore coupons for 1/2 price each item or less. I recently got a 4 pack double roll TP, 2 large bottles of heinze ketchup, 2 bottles of sweet ray bbq sauce, 1 pack of hot dog buns, 1 pack of hamburger buns, 2 boxes of 12 each popsicles (name brand), 9 packets of kool-aid, 2 containers of sour cream, all for 13.00 which was a 10.00 savings. I am lucky to live close to all the stores and run around to all the stores having sales. One store last week had gallon milk for 1.69 and you can freeze milk.

      5. I rent movies only at the redbox dispenser at the store and there is one at the walgreens too. They release all the latest DVDs just as any other video store does. The cost is 1.00 a night compared to 2.99 at the local video store and 3.99 from the cable on demand. Also they always have sales like this summer free movies first monday of the month.

      6. Put a jacket around my water heater.
      7. Changed my bulbs.
      8. Put a motion detection bulb in my garage because we kept leaving that light on.
      9. Match store sales with manufacture coupons from the sunday paper. A store can have a sale for an item for .99 cents and you usually will have a coupon for 1.00 off so you get it free. Or find stores that double coupons which is better. get lots of food free or reduced b y using coupons and store sales.
      10. I buy scented disposable diaper bags from the dollar store and use them as doggie bags. Really cheap. 100 for 1.00.
      11. I needed some baskets for organization. I got them at the goodwill for next to nothing.
      12. I sold a lot of stuff I have not used in years on Craig's list.
      13. I bought a desk I needed on Craig's list.
      14. I rarely buy stamps, envelopes or money orders. I do online banking and save money and time.

      10.

  39. QUESTION:
I am looking at getting into couponing. What is some helpful advice on how to best coupon and save?
I have been watching that Extreme Couponing show and I am interested in learning how to better save on items that I can use such as dog food, household items, makeup, paper supplies, ect. If anyone has any information that would be helpful on ways to get started and good techniques or ideas, please let me know. Thank you very much.

    • ANSWER:
Hello Angel. Extreme couponing is great if you want 400 boxes of Mini Wheats and 100 bottles of Clorox in your cellar. I don't have any interest in stockpiling, do you?

I have my own system that works very well for saving money at the grocery store. As a dad who is in charge of the grocery shopping, I consistently save 30%-35% each week, sometimes 40%. And, keep in mind, it's more than JUST coupons....and it's EASY.

      1. Shop at the same store every week. One time! It's not worth your time or the savings to chase a sale item across town at a competitor's store. Besides, that same item will most likely be on sale at "your" store next week or the week after. By shopping the same store every week, you'll learn savings "patterns". All stores have them. You'll get a feel for when something is going to be on sale. Also, knowing your store's "layout" is huge when it comes to saving big on your grocery bill.

Fresh veggies/salad: I buy all of the salad ingredients during my "once a week" shop. When I get home, my wife makes one huge salad (seals it in a large Rubbermaid container) and serves from it all week. Very convenient, because all the prep work is done for the week on shopping day. The salad stays MUCH fresher that way, too.

Meat. Shop when the store opens in the morning. In my store, a lot of the meat that is dated today or tomorrow is tagged by the meat manager with or off coupon. I always find deals on burger and steak this way. Buy it and either cook and eat it today or freeze it. The quality is equal to meat with a longer code.

      2. Clip coupons from Sunday paper. I save at least just from manufacturers coupons each week. Here is your first "nugget": If the barcode of a coupon begins with the #9, it will not double. However, if it begins with the #5, it will automatically double, even it it the coupon states "DO NOT DOUBLE".

Here is another "nugget" for you: You don't need to use the coupon on the exact brand. You only need to use it on something from the same manufacturer or "family." Obviously, it isn't broadcasted to the consumer that this can be done, but it always works.

Example: I clip a coupon good for .00 off of a Venus razor (P&G company), which, as you probably know, are very pricey, maybe or . I do this: wait until the P&G Venus disposables (3-pack) go on sale, which is frequently. Regular price: .99. Sale price: .99 less my .00 coupon: I pay .99. Not bad and it works each and every time. I do this all the time with "same family" coupons and save tons each month. No lie.

      3. Subscribe to Coupon Bug (couponbug.com). Free to join. The coupons change monthly and always feature coupons for items that I'm going to buy anyway. There are a bunch more sites, but I find that they all seem to feature the same coupons at the same time, so I see no sense in signing up for several.

      4. Store coupons. At my store, they hand them out when they hand me my receipt.

      5. Get the store sale circular and "do your homework" BEFORE going to the store. Absolutely a must. Build your grocery list (and meals for the week) around the sale items. Yes, I said "list". NEVER go grocery shopping without a prepared list. It's just stupid. The night before I go shopping, I have in front of me at the kitchen table: Store circular, all of my coupons, my "list in progress", and, of course, a cold beverage. Plan your meals, snacks, beverages around sale items. It's so easy. If something is not on sale this week, it, or something similar, will likely be on sale next week, so buy it then. Again....every store has sale "patterns."

Leftovers from meals automatically become packed lunches for work or school. No waste, and my family loves leftovers (beats the heck out of a cold sandwich).

I go through the circular (the night before) and compare sale items with my coupon inventory. As I said; do your homework. It's easy and it's a "game" to me far more than a necessity. I like to challenge myself to see how much I can save each week.

Here are my last 2 trips and the numbers:

      Original total: 5.88

      Savings: Sale savings: .06
      MFG coupons: .85
      Store coupons: .26

      Total savings: .17 (36.5%)

      New total: 8.71

      Original total: 8.99

      Savings: Sale savings: .03
      MFG coupons: .00
      Store coupons: .20

      Total savings: .23 (36%)

      New total: 3.76

It works if you prepare (do your homework). I've been doing this for years and I save thousands annually. It only takes me about an hour of my time to prepare, and, like I said, it's a game and a challenge. All fun.

I have researched this in depth since my poor dog died of kidney failure due to poor quality dog food!!(this is the only reason I answer these questions … to try and save a dogs life or at least to not let him/her suffer because of bad food)
Fromm Dog Food is Great for dogs and cats …http://www.frommfamily.com/ - per 30 lb bag
NO fillers….some good quality grains….NO corn….gluten or by-products or wheat
ALL human grade food….fruits…veggies and probiotics!!WHOLE fruits and veggies!!!! Just like the kind we get at our grocery stores!
check it out you wont regret it !FROMM 4 STAR product line is the best!!!!!!!FROMM is a 100% holistic dog food.FROMM also has a grain-free option called surf & turf

http://www.tasteofthewildpetfood.com/TOTW has a high protein content (not recommeded for non athletic dogs)
Taste of the Wild contains Ethoxyquin which is a toxic fish preservative. (TOTW says that the cooking process kills all of it but it scared me away from their product)
around for a 30 lb bag .... its the cheapest 6 star food ..

http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/ lots of great dog food choices on this site !!

Orijen and Welness are great but it is - for a 30 lb bag…high protein as well ..not good for non athletic dogsOrijen is WAY to high in protein for a non working/non-agility dog ..
Fromm Is what my puppy gets it has a lower protein % and great ingredients! 5 outta 6 stars due to lower protein (but most dogs should not have high protein levels …. It makes their kidneys work overtime for no reason)
You can get it online and if you go to the website you can find stores near you .. they wont be at walmarts and the like... they are in feed stores .. Agway..tractor supply stores etc

IF your dog is not going to be a hard working/agility dog all this high protein can do more harm than good in the long run,,, you wont notice it now but it can take its toll on a dogs kidneys as it ages.

      http://4healthdogfood.tripod.com/
there is also a brand called 4health at the tractor supply store.. it is only for a 30 lb bag.. and it seems to be of good quality. (not as good as the foods mentioned above but it good for the price if you are on a tight budget.)

also of you go to http://www.tractorsupply.com you can get a printable off coupon!!
they have tons of low and high end foods there(including TOTW and 4 Health)

  48. QUESTION:
Opinions about Blue Buffalo dog food?
My dog has occasional allergies and I really want to give him a good quality dog food. (and tasty for him too)
We are thinking about switching to Blue Buffalo dog food. What are your opinions on it?
Do you have any suggestions on a better food thats still natural too?

I would really like to know what you think of Blue dog food. Thanks (:
Also, any suggestions about Wellness dog food? What would be better?

    • ANSWER:
i have my dogs on wellness and they like it n never looked better

blue is also a good brand,

at this point get a sample from each and have ur dog decide

both brands are high quality with no corn, by product or fillers

and both brands give out coupons every month

so since ur food choices are basicly tied in nutritional value,
try and see which one is easier to buy and comes in sizes for the dog u have

basicly u cant go wrong with either one

      good luck!
